Well, today is the pinnacle of worship times for Christians as we celebrate the death, burial and, most importantly, the resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Without the cross and the sacrifice that Jesus made, we could not know the forgiveness of God.  Each one of us was an enemy of God, and yet God freely gives to us salvation, out of His great kindness and love.  Praise God for that unfathomable gift and begin even now to lift up the name of Jesus and the great mercy and grace that was given to us because of the cross and the resurrection of Jesus.

As is often the case on Easter, there will be people that rarely come to church that will be at BBC that morning.  Please pray that God will soften their hearts to hear and accept His message of grace.  Pray that the Holy Spirit will speak through Dean, and all of the music and that God will make Himself known in a powerful and mighty way that only God can.

Here are the songs that we will be using in worship this morning:

The Same Love

Victory In Jesus

Where Would We Be

The Wonderful Cross (with Matt Redman)

You Gave Your Life Away

At The Cross (Live)

Worship For March 18th

It’s another great Sunday to be at BBC. We are ready to come together as a body and worship the Lord God Almighty. We should always remember that is an honor of the highest degree to be able to be in the presence of God. He blesses us with His presence and loves for His people to come to Him with pure hearts and a desire to see Him move. Please begin now to expect God to encounter us and show Himself. Please pray that we will know Him and worship Him.

Dean will be continuing the “Balanced” series. We are being reminded that God’s goal for us is not our money, nor us following a set of rules or obligations. He wants for us to surrender to Him in everything that we do and realize that all of it is a gift from Him. Our correct and God-honoring actions will flow out of that heart attitude. Please pray for Dean, the worship team and the technical team as they lead in worship.

Here are the songs that we will be using:

Joyful

All We Need (Everything Glorious Album Version)

Always

All Creatures Of Our God And King

Come Home Running (Not To Us Album Version)

The Same Love

Worship For March 11th

It’s another great Sunday at BBC and we are deep into the “Balanced” Series. This is a great reminder for us (or maybe even new to some of us) that God desires all of our lives to be honoring to Him. That means that anything we do needs to be seasoned with the question “How can I most honor God in this activity?” By getting our financial house in order, we are able to be freer to live our lives with intentionality towards God. We are not trapped into debt and can be generous in every area of lives.

We hope that you are being challenged to see the great gifts that we have been given and letting our perspectives shift. Many of the things that we hold so dear, such as wealth or prestige, will eventually amount to nothing. The question we need to ask is “Do we have what we need?” and “How am I valuing God above everything else I have?” Please lift up Dean, the worship team and the technical team as they lead in worship.

Here are the songs we will be using:

Never Gonna Let The Rocks

O This God

I Stand Amazed (How Marvelous) (Everything Glorious Album Version)

Forever Reign

You Are God Alone (Not A God)

Gratitude (Woven And Spun Album Version)

Giving It All

Hey Guys, some of you asked me yesterday about the song that Denise and I sang at the end of the service. It’s a song called “Giving It All” by Michael Gungor. If you don’t know Gungor’s stuff, I highly recommend it. He is writing some beautiful and challenging music that surpassed a lot of what is coming out on Christian radio right now, in my opinion. Here is a link to the song on amazon.

Giving It All

Worship For March 4th

Today is the second Sunday in our “Balanced” series. We talked last week about the ways in which our financial lives can become unbalanced and how that affects our lives. This week we are turning our attention to the ways in which we can honor God with our money. If we believe that God wants us to honor Him in every thing we do, then we need to be intentional in how we use the resources that He gives us. How we take care of our money will speak loudly about what believe about God, regardless of what we say. Make sure that you are here this week. It will be a great time to worship and learn more about how God wants us to be good caretakers of the gifts that He has given us.

Please begin to pray now that God will make Himself known and that we will encounter Him in a powerful way. Please lift up Dean, the worship team and the technical team as they lead in worship.

Here are the songs that we will be using in worship:

Happy Day

Where Would We Be

O For A Thousand (Hallelujah)

The Stand (Live)

Worship For February 26th

We are kicking off a brand new series this Sunday entitled “Balanced”. We will be talking about how we can honor God with our money. It is going to be a very informative and practical approach to viewing and using the resources that God gives to us. We all seem to know about what God expects in the way of the tithe, but how do we approach the rest of the money and what are our attitudes towards it? That will reveal a great deal about where our heart is and what we believe about God. Please make every effort to join us and let these transformative teachings change how we deal with finances. It is going to be fantastic.

Please make sure to pray for Dean, the worship team and the technical team as they lead in worship. Pray that God will make Himself known and that we will be aware of His presence in a powerful way.

Here are the songs that we will be using in worship:

All We Need (Everything Glorious Album Version)

Hosanna

God Is Able (Live)

Where Would We Be

Enough (Our Love Is Loud Album Version)

Worship For February 19th

This is second week in our “One By The Water” series. What a great reminder of the chance that we have to share what we have been given with people in our lives. When you have been given a great gift, you love to share that with other people, yet, for various reasons we are often hesitant to share our faith with the people closest to us. Not only does it honor God when we share about what He has done in our lives, but it gives someone else the chance to have that same blessing.

We are being reminded that Jesus is the Living Water. All of us need water to survive just like each of us needs Jesus to have life and life eternal. Be praying about how and when you can have the chance to share the Living Water with someone around you. Please remember to lift up Dean, the worship team and the technical team as they lead in worship. Please pray that we are acutely aware of God’s presence and intentionally seeking to encounter God Sunday morning.

Here are the songs that we will be using in worship:

Reach the World

My Savior Lives

We Will Remember

Your Great Name

You Are (Album Version)

Where Would We Be

Worship For February 12th

This Sunday begins a new series at BBC. Make sure that you are there to hear what God wants to tell us about Himself and how He wants us to share Him in our world. We have been given a gift of unfathomable worth in our salvation. Our job is to share that grace with the people that God places in our lives. We have been given the Water of life. Not because of anything we have done, but because of God’s great love for us. We have the opportunity to share this love with a world that desperately needs it. Please begin to play now that God will open each of our hearts to hear from Him and then change our world by sharing who He is.

Please lift up Dean, the worship team and the technical team as they lead in worship. Be ready to encounter God and to praise His glorious name.

Here are the songs that we will be using in worship:

Worship For February 5th

Well, we have a great Sunday in store for today, and not just because it is “Super” Sunday. It will be great because we will be coming together as a body to lift up the name of our Savior. He is more than worthy to be worshiped and have His name lifted high. Begin now to prepare yourself to worship. Worship God by yourself and then be praying that we will see God in a powerful way as we come together. God loves to be praised by His people and He delights in our praises.

We also have the privilege of hearing from our student pastor candidate. Even though we have not officially released his name, God knows how He is working in both our life and the life of the candidate. Be praying that God will use him in a mighty way to challenge us and to make His will clear. Also, don’t forget to lift up the worship team and the technical team as they lead in worship.

Here are the songs that we will be using in worship:

Victory In Jesus

O This God

If You Know You’re Loved

Glory To God Forever

Amazed (Album Version)

Worship For January 29th

Today, we finish our series about the obstacles that keep us from doing what God wants us to do. We hope that you have been encouraged and challenged to listen to what God is saying to you. Take those things that are in your path or holding you back and put them aside. God wants you to succeed in each one of those areas and will give you the strength that you need. Don’t let any of those enemies that we have talked about keep you from achieving the best God wants for each of you and for BBC.

Please begin now to prepare for worship now. Be expecting God to show Himself in a powerful way as we come together to worship Him. Please lift up Dean, the worship team and the technical team as they lead in worship.

Here are the songs that we will be using in worship:
